On-Site Training We Come to You

Expert training delivered at your premises — anywhere in the UK. Industry-specific courses tailored to your operations, your equipment and your team. Less disruption, more relevance, better outcomes.

On-Site Training

Training That Comes to Your Workplace

There's a reason the most effective training happens on your own turf. When your team learns in the environment they actually work in — surrounded by the equipment they use, the hazards they face and the processes they follow — the training sticks. Theory becomes practice. Compliance becomes culture.

RADCaT's on-site training brings our experienced trainers directly to your factory floor, warehouse, depot, office, school, care home, construction site or any other workplace across the UK. Every session is tailored to your specific industry, operations and compliance requirements — not a generic off-the-shelf course delivered in a conference room, but real-world training built around your real-world risks.

For groups of 6 or more delegates, on-site delivery is typically more cost-effective than sending staff to an external venue — and means zero travel time, zero lost productivity and maximum relevance. We bring all training materials, equipment and documentation. You just provide the team.

UK-wide coverage — our trainers deliver on-site from Wigan to London, Scotland to Cornwall. Wherever your team works, we'll be there.

Why On-Site

Why Train at Your Premises?

Real-World Relevance

Training uses your actual equipment, processes and hazards. Delegates learn in the environment they work in, so lessons translate directly into safer working practices.

Cost-Effective for Groups

One trainer, one visit, your whole team trained. No individual travel costs, no venue hire, no per-delegate external fees. Typically 40–60% cheaper for groups of 6+.

Zero Downtime

No travel time for your staff. Training happens at your premises, around your schedule. Morning shift, afternoon shift, weekend — we flex to fit your operations.

Tailored Content

Every session is customised to your industry, your site-specific risks and your compliance requirements. Not generic — bespoke to your business.

Team Consistency

Your entire team receives the same training, the same message, the same standards. No inconsistencies from different courses at different venues.

Compliance Evidence

Full documentation including attendance registers, certificates of completion and training records — everything you need for audits and regulatory inspections.

Common Questions

On-Site Training FAQ

How many delegates do I need for on-site training?

We typically recommend a minimum of 6 delegates to make on-site delivery cost-effective compared to sending individuals to an open course at our Wigan centre. However, there's no strict minimum — if on-site delivery makes operational sense for your business, we'll make it work. Maximum group sizes vary by course, typically 12–16 for practical courses and up to 25 for classroom-based sessions.

What do I need to provide at my premises?

A suitable room or area for the training — ideally with tables and chairs for classroom-based courses, or access to the relevant work area for practical training. A power supply and screen or projector for presentations (we can bring our own if needed). We provide all course materials, handouts, training equipment and certification documentation.

Is on-site training the same quality as centre-based?

Absolutely — in many cases it's better. The same qualified trainers deliver the same accredited content, but with the added benefit of site-specific examples, your actual equipment and real-world scenarios from your workplace. Delegates often find on-site training more engaging and relevant because it directly relates to their daily work environment and the hazards they actually encounter.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance for standard courses to ensure trainer availability and allow time for content customisation. For bespoke courses requiring significant tailoring, 4–6 weeks is ideal. However, we understand that training needs sometimes arise urgently and will always do our best to accommodate short-notice requests.

Do you cover the whole of the UK?

Yes. We deliver on-site training anywhere in the UK — from our base in Wigan, Greater Manchester across the North West, Yorkshire, the Midlands, London, the South and into Scotland and Wales. Travel costs are included in our pricing for most locations; for remote sites we'll confirm any additional travel costs upfront in your quote.

Can you train different shifts on the same day?

Yes. We regularly deliver the same course multiple times in a single day to accommodate shift patterns, particularly in manufacturing, warehousing, care and hospitality settings. This means your entire workforce receives consistent training without disrupting your operations. We'll work with you to plan a delivery schedule that fits your shift rota.

How much does on-site training cost?

On-site training is priced per session rather than per delegate, which typically makes it significantly cheaper for groups of 6 or more. Costs depend on the course, duration, location and level of customisation required. We provide clear, all-inclusive quotes with no hidden extras. Contact us with your requirements and delegate numbers for a tailored proposal.
