How long is the course?
4 days (typically Monday-Thursday). Includes all 7 modules, assessment and workplace project briefing. The workplace project is completed after the course.
Is there an exam?
Yes. An end-of-course assessment covering all modules — multiple choice and short answer questions. Delegates also submit a workplace risk assessment project. Both must be passed.
Does the certificate expire?
No. The IOSH Managing Safely certificate doesn't formally expire. However, IOSH recommends a refresher every 3 years to maintain current knowledge. Many employers and clients require evidence of recent training.
Can you deliver on-site for our company?
